More Info;

On April 21st, 2018 (Saturday), TPA will host a workshop to train and empower aspiring entrepreneurs in the Detroit Metropolitan area. According to ‘Detroit Future City 139 Square Miles’ data report, there is approximately only one job for every 30 citizens in the City of Detroit. Further, African-Americans constitute only 33 percent of the workforce in Detroit. Hispanics are even less, with a staggering statistic below five percent. In addition, entrepreneurship for minorities are just as challenging with African-Americans only at two percent and Hispanics at five percent. Therefore, we intend to create more windows of opportunity to start your own business. We believe the promotion of entrepreneurship, is an appropriate solution to restoring economic fortitude and independence to minority families in Detroit. At our workshop, participants will be provided with information on starting a small business and given the chance to start the incorporation process on the spot. Workshop participants will have access to all the resources necessary to incorporate a small business including marketing materials such as logos, shirts, cards, and website design, business planning, business credit etc.
